Style at Home

We are proud to have been featured in the June 2005 issue of Style at Home magazine:

"Details, Past & Present (...) is a fitting name for this antique and fine art gallery, which also holds contemporary art shows. All of the 19th century-pieces are hand-picked to ensure quality and authenticity. Chests, cupboards and tables can be found in pine, oak, mahogany and walnut. Along with sturdy furniture, the store offers traditional Maritime hooked rugs and local artwork."

Welcome to Details, Past & Present

Details, Past & Present Fine Arts and Antiques gallery features original art by prominent Prince Edward Island artists as well as fine art from other Maritime provinces and beyond. Single artist and group shows are held several times during the year. Along with fine art we also carry an eclectic mix of local antique furniture in pine, oak, mahogany and walnut. All pieces have been carefully selected to ensure authenticity. Antique cupboards, chests, sofas and tables from Island homes blend with traditional Maritime hooked rugs and pottery.

We are located in the heart of the heritage district of Charlottetown on Victoria Row - a restored block of Victorian buildings on Richmond Street.

In summer, the street becomes a lovely pedestrian area with live music, outdoor cafes, galleries and craft and gift shops.

We are open year round and invite you to visit us when you come to Charlottetown.
