William (Bill) Rogers

William Rogers is a Nova Scotia artist working in oil, watercolor and printmaking. Bill is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC) and is currently the Vice President. He is also a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) and the Société Canadienne de l’Aquarelle (SCA). The effects of light and color dominate his award winning watercolors, exhibited with major watercolor societies in Canada and the USA where he has been the recipient of numerous awards including the A. J. Casson Medal for the best painting in the CSPWC Open Water Exhibition at the Leighton Centre, Calgary in 2009.
He teaches Art part-time at StFX University and conducts painting workshops for various art groups at home and abroad.
During the 2014 visit of Prince Charles and Lady Camilla to Canada, Bill was the official Royal Tour Artist.
